Laws and Regulations

Navigating through all the laws and regulations of the moving industry can be complicated at times.  There are local, state, and federal levels, all of which directly affect your business.  PMAF has compiled the following list of laws and regulations to help make it easier for you to navigate.

We have also included the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), which serves as the model legal code for all commercial transactions, and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), which is a collection of Federal Rules and Regulations, including those made by agencies of the federal government such as the United States Department of Transportation.
